Happy Arthur's Day!

The Arthur's Day celebrations begin in Dublin at 17:59 with a global toast to Arthur Guinness to mark the 250 years since he signed the 9,000 year lease on the St. James's Gate brewery and kick off the beginning of the Arthur’s Day global events. In Dublin thousands of people will be coming together to experience the live music events in over 30 venues across Dublin from intimate gigs in pubs to music venues and even a concert at the St. James’s Gate brewery itself.

Keep an eye out for our 6 LED Trucks and 3 Light Walkers which will be displaying and projecting images around Dublin City this evening.

Close to Home

I had a rare weekend at home (well, I still worked but didn't photograph a wedding) — which happened to fall on the same weekend as the Tunbridge Fair. It was fun to spend time taking pictures and enjoying the beautiful Fall weather. Here's a few of my favorites:







From top, the Hang Glider at the fair took riders 'round and 'round; an ox basks in the warm Fall afternoon light; choir director Judie Lewis leads the Tunbridge Church in song during its annual fair service; the choir comes as they are, ready for the day's activities at the fair; while waiting for a ride home, my daughter and her friend talk about their afternoon together; popular piglets were pooped out from all of the attention.

This month Niall Sweeney used our City Card racks to promote his live show, Revolver. Condesing two decades into a two hour live performance, Sweeney presents an evening of story cycles and graphic travelogues in words, pictures and music.

Congrats to Nicole Richie and Joel Madden! Harlow’s mommy and daddy just welcomed a baby boy in to the world, Sparrow James Midnight Madden. He was born in the wee hours of the morning and weighs in at 7 lbs, 14 oz. Can’t wait to see pics!

Glee Premieres Tonight on Fox

There's been a ton of hype and chatter about Fox's new show, Glee. They boldly previewed an episode back in May and it was a smash success. People are full of glee. I know I am. What's not to love about a show about a show choir of misfits. We've all been there ... Right? Oh, that was just me. Glee premieres tonight at 9 on Fox. Can't wait! Light Walker: Guinness Hurling

Keep an eye out for our Light Walkers this weekend. They will be projecting images from the current Guinness Hurling campaign around the streets of Dublin, Kilkenny and Thurles on Friday and Saturday nights.

Our i-site network currently stands at 760 A1 Lightboxes around Ireland. In this current cycle we have several campaigns running through the extensive network including Murphys, Smirnoff Mule, Sol Beer, The Irish Times, Bank of Ireland and Bulmers Pint Bottle.

September City Cards

New postcards will be filling up our racks this weekend. Absolut Vodka are doing a City Card to promote the Absolut Fringe Festival which runs from 5th-20th September.

Offset also have a City Card campaign to promote Offset 2009 which is a week long creative festival culminating in a 3 day conference taking place in Dublin’s Liberty Hall Theatre from Friday 6th-Sunday 8th November.
