Upper Valley at Work

During this past school year, I made portraits of subjects profiled in the series Upper Valley at Work (as I did last year). The profiles give young people an idea of what it takes to follow a career path. From top to bottom are profile subjects Dr. Zoe Courville, who is a research mechanical engineer at the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Lab in Hanover, N.H.; flight instructor Daniel Kelman at Signal Aviation in West Lebanon, N.H.; Blakeley Murrell-Liland, a veterinarian and co-owner of Kedron Valley Veterinary Clinic in West Woodstock, Vt.; Vice President Linda Giner at Mascoma Savings Bank in Lebanon, N.H.; Joshua Kim, who is a senior learning technologist and an adjunct faculty member in Sociology at Dartmouth College.
