Synopsis

The Arrancar invasion of Ichigo's hometown Karakura chou proceeds relentlessly, with Cuarta Espada Ulquiorra Cifer pitting his strength against that of the accidental Shinigami. Meanwhile, Arrancar Number 16 D-Roy Linker goes on the offensive against Chad, prompting Ichigo to come to his friend's defense. Using her restored Shinigami powers, Rukia defeats the Arrancar but loses to the might of Sexta Espada Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, the sixth-strongest of all the humanoid Hollows.

Arrancar 13 Edorad Leones also attacks one of Ichigo's pals, who is rescued by 11th Division 3rd Seat Madarame Ikkaku and fellow squad member Ayasegawa Yumichika. At first Ikkaku appears on the losing end against the Arrancar and his zanpakutou, but Soul Reaper officer decides to...
