Little back story in case you've only watched the anime: Hizumi (Mizushiro Hizumi) is a manga-only character and just like the Blade Children, is a desperate and lonely child who knows only despair.
(Thanks, Wikipedia.) Hizumi's seeming innocence makes him resemble Kanone, and he is Ayumu's polar opposite.
