Bleach © Kubo Tite/Shueisha [Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump]
Published in Indonesia by PT Gramedia/m&c!

Baraggan Luisenbarn's Fracciones attack the four pillars protecting Karakura Town; Soul Reapers Hisagi—Bleach 38's cover boy—Yumichika and Kira manage to defend their pillars, but Ikkaku's crumbles, after the 11th Division 3rd Seat refuses to reveal his bankai in combat.

What will happen to Ichigo's beloved town now?

You follow the anime? Then you have an idea of what happens, or doesn't happen to Karakura-chou.

Meet the Banchou 4 of 12 by Suzuki Nakaba

Friends lend Kongou Banchou their strength to take on the Five Dark Vows, but will it be enough? Survival is at stake in an eerie cave located deep within Mt. Fuji in Meet the Banchou 4.

(Blizzard Axel 10, the other Suzuki Nakaba shounen manga (but with toned-down testosterone), also streets this Wednesday, but blurbed way below.)

Goal Den Age 3 of 3 by Takaoka Eisei & Tsunamoto Masaya

The third DO WANT! m&c! manga is the final Goal Den Age, which not only ups its SRP by over 20% to IDR 20,000/volume, but also sees Kazu picked by the national soccer team, leaving his friends behind. But no need for tears; they all promise to reunite when Japan competes on the world stage. In the meantime, Kazu will have to make good on his promise to bring honor to the Land of the Rising Sun via the football pitch.

Previewing the other finale Go! Hiromi Go! (volume 8), the debuting School Crisis! by Igarashi Kaoru and other continuing series Below The Cut.

Ugly Duckling Become Swan 5, Female Wolf's Boy 10 (m&c! 22 December 2010 manhwa) [UPDATED]

Contains   [SPOILERS!]

[Ugly Duckling Become Swan] © Hwang MiRee/Samyang (Kkonnim)
Published in Indonesia as Ugly Duckling Become Swan by PT Gramedia/m&c!

The Ugly Duckling Become Swan 5 back cover summary—the front cover, too—actually refers to the last few pages Incident that ends in a He did WHAT?!! cliff-hanger, so inserting my lead-up first: Go Mio reverts to her pre-Swan look and reveals Kim DoJin's bullying/torture to a newspaper reporter. The ensuing tell-all—complete with a picture of her cigarette burn scar—lands her also-bodyguard in Big Time Trouble with his dad. The senior Kim orders DoJin to transfer to another school...in the U.S.!

OK, fast forward to m&c!'s summary: Rain starts to pour as soon as Mio buys an ice cream, bloating her proportions to 85kg faster than the fat grams in the dessert she just bought could ever accomplish. So, of course, Mio runs into DoJin, on the run from a couple of gangsta. DoJin drags Mio to a dark alley and proceeds to...

You'll have to GET! Ugly Duckling Become Swan 6 for what happens next, but volume 5 is equally worth the IDR 18,500 investment. This installment flashbacks to Mio and DoJin's first meeting as 13-year-olds and redeems a*sehole DoJin a little bit.

Female Wolf's Boy 10 of 17 by Han YuRang

Now that the entire school knows EunSoo's true gender, HoWon gives EunSoo the cold shoulder. His 180 degrees flip confuses EunSoo, who, for the life of her, can't figure out why HoWon ignoring her so saddens. HoWon's sulking even extends to You knew she was a girl from the beginning, didn't you? JaeHee. But HoWon and JaeHee will have to postpone their p*ssing match to another day because a new danger stalks their bone of contention, I mean, their common object of affection.

Don't worry about waiting long for the new Damsel in Distress(?) arc; Female Wolf's Boy 11 streets on the 29th.

An unlooked for upshot of HoWon's petulance: the supporting characters get more panel time in Female Wolf's Boy 10. But for the life of me, I still can't remember their names. (Aside from GuHyeon.)

New m&c! manga: Goal Den Age and Togetherness

m&c!'s premiering Goal Den Age by Takaoka Eisei & Tsunamoto Masaya is a short shounen sports series, soccer-themed, but you already inferred that from the manga title.

Despite being crazy over soccer, Fujiyama Kazu has never had the benefit of training, so his skills remain so much untapped potential. This stands to change when two mystery men invite him to join the the U-16 national squad.

Wagata Konomi's Togetherness, meanwhile, finished its Indonesian serial run in Cherry, so it's not really a new-new thing. If you missed the installment, here's the lowdown on the Ciao manga originally titled Isshoni Kaero:

Shiori doesn't like dogs, so it's just karmic that she gets charge of a dog named Ken upon request of her crush Saito. Ken's not like other eager to please dogs and annoys Shiori to no end with his canine arrogance.

But doggitude's not the only thing Ken's got going for him; aside from fluency in barking, he can also speak... human??

Last September, Cherry released a Togetherness side story, My Family Problem, but I don't know if this is included in the tankou.

Finales: How to make a Princess and Shanimuni GO

In the finale of Izumi Asuka's How to make a Princess —

Tanaka Maria thought she was an orphan, but apparently, her father is still alive. And not only is he alive, he rules a kingdom, which explains why two cool butlers come to live with Maria.

Being the king's daughter and next in line for the throne has made Maria the target of discontents. Can butlers Rufus and Yuri protect the princess?

Meanwhile in the shoujo Tenipuri, Shanimuni GO —

The men's singles finals. Ruui wins the first set, while the second goes to Nobuhisa. Now down to the final set, which player will emerge the interhigh champ?
