City Card printing has got more eco-friendly

We have upped the ante on our printing again.

We now print on 75% post consumer recycled pulp with virgin fibre sourced from sustainable and managed forests. We currently use this mix rather than 100% recycled as it requires less heavy ink use. The board is chlorine free. We print with vegetable based inks and finish with water based varnish.

Our printing is FSC approved.

And did we tell you we are part of 1% for the Planet Alliance.

I was flicking through The Sunday Times this morning and I was was happy to find this free postcard courtesy of Unicef. It is to commemorate the 90th birthday of Nelson Mandela. Then moving onto The Sunday World. There was a free set of Joe Dolan postcards for every reader. Great idea.

And finally.......our humble blog got a mention in the Computers in Business section of todays Sunday Business Post. There is even a picture of my good self and one of our City Card racks pictured in The Bodega Bar in Dun Laoghaire. It's one of over 300 of these Free City Card racks that can be found in cafes, restaurants bars and all the major college campus' throughout Ireland. Here is a link to the story

The Bingham Cup - City Cards June

From June 13th - 15th The Bingham Cup will be taking place in Dublin. It's billed as the biggest, gayest rugby tournament ever. Paddy Power are sponsoring the event.
