In my early morning, bleary-eyedness, I realized that my perfume and my watercolors have the same name - Fragonard. The watercolors are "enriched with honey for a sticky texture and to aid dilution with water"; which has nothing to do with the perfume....

or the painter, Jean-Honoré Fragonard - some time before the perfume or the watercolors.

Watercolor painting differs from oil & acrylic in two very important ways.... one: in watercolors - you must paint from light-to-dark and two: in watercolor painting, if you make a mistake you can't just 'paint over it'; you pretty much have to get a new sheet of paper and start over. It might seem unforgiving, but if you think about it, it's probably best to plan ahead, not rush and if you don't get it right, throw it away and get a new sheet of paper.
