Adaptations
A 220-episode anime based on manga volumes 1-27 was produced by Studio Pierrot and Aniplex and aired from October 2002 to February 2007 in Japan. Seiyuu Takeuchi Junko, Nakamura Chie, and Sugiyama Noriaki returned in their roles as Uzumaki Naruto, Haruno Sakura, and Uchiha Sasuke in the sequel (manga volume 28 onwards) that premiered February 2007 on TV Tokyo. Naruto Shippūden is still ongoing (episode 175 aired 2010.08.26).

Kanbayashi covertly tries out the new equipment that caused Meguru's accident and sent his unconscious colleague to the hospital. But no matter how many times he puts the thing to test, it looks perfectly fine.
