Synopsis

A mysterious girl stops by the bar where Shuji works on Christmas eve. She drops by again several times, before disappearing for two whole months. When Shuji next sees her, she's lurking at a crime scene.

Did Mystery Girl have anything to do with the man's death? And what's with the weird shadow trailing her?

A love story wrapped in a mystery is how Level promoes this seinen series. Mystery is apropos, considering how there's next to nothing on teh internets about this manga adapt of the Snark Kari novel by the author of Brave Story, Miyabe Miyuki.

The title itself representers a loaner from Lewis Carroll's nonsense poemThe Hunting of the Snark (An Agony in 8 Fits)—but Miyabe-sensei's version probably has no connection (beyond that of a shared name) to the original impossible voyage of an improbable crew to find an inconceivable creature.¹ If there is, I'll let you know (after I GET! my hands on it).
