GTO 3, Perfect Girl Evolution 24, Gurren Lagann 001 (Level Comics 8 June 2011 manga)

Maybe, but it isn't zero. As far as I'm concerned, that makes it the same as a 100% chance.

It's still a while before Simon sez the quotable above, but we're one tankou closer with Level Comics's premiere of buxom babes, beastmen, and giant mechs Gurren Lagann.

Gurren Lagann 1 (Level Comics)

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann © by Mori Kotaro/MediaWorks [Dengeki Comics]
Published in Indonesia as Gurren Lagann by Elex Media/Level Comics

Simon the Digger and the Giha villagers only know an underground cavern as their world and believe that one day, they will all perish in a landslide triggered by an earthquake. Into this hope-deprived hole bursts Kamina who coaxes Simon to break through to a surface world beyond their dreams.

And before Simon knows it, the “sky” above literally crashes on his and Kamina's heads, bringing with it a monster that only a glowing drill-bit and the man-sized mech it activates can overcome. [Additions from Bandai Entertainment's Gurren Lagann Manga Volume 1 summary]

Of course, you already know that the Gurren Lagann manga is based on the award-winning Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann anime by GAINAX. I think you can even find Gurren Lagann under the proverbial rock, because that's just how (early) Simon works, LOL.

Now for DO WANT! #1 and 2...

GTO 3 of 25 by Fujisawa Toru

Onizuka lands a teaching stint at Tokyo Kissho, but not at the senior high. He is appointed homeroom teacher of class 3-4, notorious for its punk students. Class 3-4's trouble-making is gonna test Onizuka's confidence to the limits!

Perfect Girl Evolution 24 of 28+ by Hayakawa Tomoko

Not having given up on his perfect mate, Grimmel's dark, cadaverous prince tracks Sunako all the way to Japan. But for some strange reason, Sunako is acting weird(er) than usual and is channeling a cat! Kyohei realizes something's up, but his resistance is mistaken for jealousy over Sunako and the prince.

Perfect Girl Evolution 24 compiles chapters 96 through 99: I Want To See You (Parts 1 and 2), Burn!! Sebastian! and The Great Bond. [*NOT Level's chapter titles]

Neon Genesis Evangelion 11, Be a Naughty Girl 5 of 5, Kaicho's Kitten by Furumiya Kazuko (m&c! 9 March 2011 manga and manhwa)

Neon Genesis Evangelion 11 (m&c!)

Shinseiki Evangelion © Sadamoto Yoshiyuki, khara • GAINAX
Kadokawa Shoten [Serialized in Shonen Ace]
Published in Indonesia as Neon Genesis Evangelion by Gramedia/m&c!

After the destruction of Tokyo-3 and Rei's sacrifice which saved Shinji's life, Shinji discovers to his astonishment that she is still alive. But is she still the same person? Meanwhile, Kaworu turns out to be the last Angel. Taking possession of EVA-02, he enters Terminal Dogma where Adam is confined. Shinji commences pursuit, but... [Mechanically translated from Glénat's French Neon Genesis Evangelion, Tome 11 description]

Kaworu~~. Nuff sed...NOT! Manga-ka Sadamoto Yoshiyuki announced the resumption of Evangelion's serialization just a week ago. Is it coincidence that a week hence, m&c! releases volume 11? (I think not; I don't believe in happenstance.) Now, wonder when m&c! will resume the spin-off Iron Maiden the 2nd?

Be a Naughty Girl 5 of 5 by Yeon Doo, Kim YeVin

Be it one or 100 years that have elapsed, don't ever forget that you love me.

Yeong Won and Ha Ru's love story wraps this release, but not before (1) the pair first parts and Ha Ru withdraws from school; (2) Ha Ru ask for Yeong Won to wait for his return; and (3) Yeong Won attempts to study her way back to rank 1.

Thinking of 5K'g (marathoning) the Be a Naughty Girl manhwa now...

New m&c! titles: Kaicho's Kitten and If Only You Were Here

Two shoujo manga premiere: Kaicho's Kitten by Furumiya Kazuko and If Only You Were Here by Morio Rina.

Published in Indonesia as
Kaicho's Kitten by m&c!

Student council prexy Hayami Rei'ichiro finds himself alienated from his peers because of his disciplinarian tendencies. One day, his workaholic mother (who doesn't live with him) dumps a kitten on Rei and asks him to take care of it. Fazed, Rei turns to the student council's resident cat otaku Shiraishi for help. [Additions from Baka-Updates Manga's Kaichou-san Chi no Koneko summary]

Cool × cute cat comedy is how the original Japanese blurb hypes this ex-HanaYume serial. “Megane × koneko” is mine.

Baka-Updates Manga adds that the Gakuran Ouji one-shot is also compiled in this tank. Kiyomi models the hero of her manga (also titled Gakuran Ouji) on Narumi-kun, for his absolute droolicious when wearing a gakuran. What will happen when Narumi-kun finds out what Kiyomi has been up to?

m&c! has also published these two other Furumiya Kazuko-sensei manga: My Dear Princess and Kimi to Scandal!. Furumiya-sensei is also credited with the vampire-troped Bloody Kiss; her current HanaYume serial is Navy Nats!.

Morio Rina's If Only You Were Here is previewed after the manga list.

BOX SETS: Bleach 13-18 and 19-24

In another bit of Just-in-Time-ness (Animax is set to premiere Season 2 of the anime this 18 March), m&c! value bundles Kubo Tite's Bleach volumes 13-18—still squarely in The Rescue arc—and volumes 19-24, which extends up to the battle with the Arrancar and Ichigo's encounter with the Visored. Each six-volume pack retails for IDR 95,000.

☆ The Elex 3.09 STO includes Majiko!'s Dynamic Duet volumes 1 and 2 as [reissues], but m&c! keeps quiet about the Mikansei No. 1 pair. Including, just in case.
