Soul Eater 13, Yugo in Tokyo - Tanegashima, Giant Killing 10 (Level Comics 28 December 2011 manga) [UPDATED]

The rest of Level's covers and NikBabble™ to follow...whenever :P Update: "Whenever" cometh in January

Yugo in Tokyo - Tanegashima (Level Comics)

Yugo: Tokyo Tanegashima-hen © by Akana Shu & Makari Shinji
Kodansha [Serialized in Evening]
Published in Indonesia as Yugo in Tokyo - Tanegashima
by Elex Media/Level Comics

As is obvious from the lead pix, we get the third Yugo II arc, Yugo in Tokyo - Tanegashima:

Yugo is suddenly arrested by "old acquaintances" Kamijo and Omaki. They grill him about the case of an aerospace researcher's abducted wife, whose kidnappers specifically asked for Yugo to negotiate on their behalf. Apparently the case is connected with the rocket launch of an intel satellite.

One wrong move and Japanese-American relations could sour... fast.

Telor Ceplok contributor Lina-chan gives Yugo in Tokyo - Tanegashima an 8 of 10 in the comments and considers it a definite collectible, especially for Yugo fans. (Yoo, hoo! Andrea Tezumo-sensei... :D)

Black*Star chooses this moment to return to the stage, stronger and more determined than ever to dispatch Samurai Mifune!

Soul Eater 13 compiles chapters 49 through 52: Operation: Capture Baba Yaga's Castle (Parts 4-7). [*NOT Level's chapter title(s)]

In Dolls of God 5, Koshiro and Kirio return to Tokyo to continue the manhunt for Aki, while Hirashiro dispatches another Hyuga Seki to further his agenda. The new Seki Mahiru is totally in lurve with Kyohei-sama but that doesn't stop her from attacking other Seki, Utao included...

Wiseman's tactics succeed where others failed. Defeat, guilt and self-directed anger drive Mamoru to distance himself from the Element Network. Precog Loli Haruka, however, is not about to let Mamoru go. What fate awaits our Till Death Do Us Parters after they exit Network?

Until Death Do Us Part 9: Shadow collects Parts 66–74. There's the usual full-color inserts, the first featuring Haruka begging Mamoru to kill her. (Oops, did I say that out loud? :P)

Moar previews—with or without SPOIL—after the release list.

He's a reporter for the newspaper La Rafale in Paris and depending on where his comic is published, also goes by the names Rick Master (Germany), Rik Ringers (The Netherlands and Flanders), Rick Hart (Scandinavia) and Reporter Johnny (South India). (Thanks, Wiki.)

GTO 4, Bloody Monday 5, Psychometrist Eiji 23 (Level Comics 15 August 2011 manga) [UPDATED]

We get twice the manga releases this week (on the 15th and the 18th) owing to the upcoming Idul Fitri holiday.

GTO 4, Bloody Monday 5, Psychometrist Eiji 23 (Level Comics)

GTO © Fujisawa Toru/Kodansha · Bloody Monday © Ryumon Ryou & Megumi Kouji/Kodansha · Psychometrer Eiji © Ando Yuma & Asaki Masashi/Kodansha. First serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. Published in Indonesia as GTO, Bloody Monday and Psychometrist Eiji by Elex Media/Level Comics

Had Level also skedded The Drops of God 7 on the 15th, we would've gotten a Kibayashi Shin-sensei (Agi Tadashi/Ryumon Ryou/Ando Yuma) trifecta. Ah, well, Onizuka's been waiting since last week to street, so see ya later, Shizuku.

GTO 4 of 25 by Fujisawa Toru

Onizuka gains more fans, and it only took an adventure with Murai and pals (and some rumbles on Tokyo streets) to accomplish the feat. But Miyabi and her BFFs can't stand seeing students side with Onizuka. They hatch up a plan to ruin Onizuka's (good?) name, using Tomoko, the last word in ‘slow.’

Bloody Monday 5 of 11 by Ryumon Ryou & Megumi Kouji

Chuang Yi's English Bloody Monday: Season 1 Vol.5 blurb opens with: Experience has never been Fujimaru's strong suit, and nothing could have brought that point closer to home than his failure to open fire at Hosho. This single act of hesitation thus set off a whole series of crises...

Lemme pick up with Level's version:

Hosho shoots Otoya and takes Haruka hostage. With his sister's life once again on the line, Fujimaru demands a meeting with the terrorist top brass. Who should appear before Fujimaru but a youth no older than Fujimaru himself?

Psychometrist Eiji 23 of 25 by Ando Yuma & Asaki Masashi

A student goes up in flames after MELA goads high school students into a killing spree. Suspicion falls on Shokichi, present at the scene. Shokichi flees, prompting Eiji to give chase.

Can Eiji clear Shokichi of the murder charge? Find out in Psychometrist Eiji volume 23. Btw, if you're slightly worried that we're already on volume 23 of 25, don't be. There's a Psychometrer sequel that began serialization in Young Magazine last April, and Level will prolly license that reboot, too.
