I would've led with Jigoku Sensei Nube, or Guru Ahli Roh Nube—seeing as the Hell Teacher last jumped into action in August 2009—but the cover proved too eye-popping for my G-rated/SFW blog. And since m&c!'s blurb only lists (partially?) the Volume 28: Shinigami
chapter titles, it's not too egregious to deprive it of front page pix honor.
In any case, My cheerful Boyfriend IS the First Runner-up this release. Although I would've preferred m&c! to retitle the shoujo standalone The Student Council President's Boyfriend, that's neither here nor there. Satori Tae's Seito Kaichou no Kareshi omnibus compiles four shorts: My cheerful Boyfriend,
A Wish before farewell,
At Home X Love
and Clumsy Love Letter.

Adaptations
A 49-episode anime adaptation co-produced by Toei Animation and TV Asahi, starring seiyuu Okiayu Ryotaro (Nueno Meisuke/Nube), aired in Japan from April 1996 to June 1997. A three-episode OAV was released between May 1998 and April 1999. Three movies—Jigoku Sensei Nube (1996.07.06), Jigoku Sensei Nube: Gozen 0 toki Nube Shisu (sequel; 1997.03.08) and Jigoku Sensei Nube: Kyoufu no Natsu Yasumi! Asashi no Uni no Gensetsu (sequel; 1997.07.12)—have also been produced.
