07-GHOST 8, Karneval 4, Vagabond 25 (Chuang Yi 5 July 2011 English manga) [UPDATED]

Added late-breaking Pokémon - Giratina and The Sky Warrior, the mangafication of the second Diamond & Pearl movie that surprisingly reappears as a newb. (originally advised in September 2010; don't tell me it didn't issue then and is only releasing naaaw?)

No one can convince me that this 07-GHOST latest wasn't prompted by the anime's upcoming Animax premiere (12 July). Not when Chuang Yi's prior advised sked was (also) the 12th. Yes, call me a conspiracy theorist :D

Also, the second to the last Kekkaishi (#34) over on the simplified Chinese manga side.

Protagonists of Chuang Yi's 7.05 manga have "Dates with Destiny": Teito comes face to face with his past and future in 07-GHOST 8; Nai and Gareki confront their helplessness in Karneval 4; and Musashi emerges from his one-year reprieve from Yoshioka in VAGABOND 25. (Longer previews after the release list.)

Are You Alice? 1 and 2 double launch, La Corda d'Oro 14, Vagabond 24 (Chuang Yi 3 May 2011 English manga) [UPDATED]

Hoping none of these manga decide to resked between this post's Sunday publication and Chuang Yi's on the date confirm. Although I doubt Are You Alice? will budge from 3 May, otherwise we're really heading into curiouser and curiouser territory. »Edit They did budge, but only by one day (streeted 4 May).

Also, VAGABOND 24 and the simplified Chinese Kaichou wa Maid-sama! #12 and The Ravages of Time #41.

It's not the Alice in Wonderland bloodbath that Alice in the Country of Hearts is, but I still welcome Are You Alice?, starring a bishounen ‘Alice’ who must off the White Rabbit or it's off with his head!, as Chuang Yi gleefully points out. Sounds plenty bloody enuf to me ^^

The josei Zero-Sum series adapts the Are You Alice? drama CDs (thanks for the list, Minty Utopians). Alice?'s CV is Sakupyon (Sakurai Takahiro).

In other 2D bishies, Tsukimori Can't. Spit. Something. Out in La Corda d'Oro 14, news that stands to shock Kaho-chan (and gladden the hearts of Tsukimori's rivals).

Millennium Academy - an elite military school set up to train aspiring vampire soldiers to protect humanity. Among its students is Aldred, a vampire unlike his kind; and Kei Yosugara, a human whose existence seems intrinsically tied to Aldred's own. [From Chuang Yi's Rust Blaster synopsis]

Chuang Yi follows up the third Black Butler (released 10.19) with the one-volume Rust Blaster (ISBN: 978-981-4297-99-8), Toboso Yana's short Vampires, Special Abilities, Parallel Universe, Secret Organizations, Contract serial that spanned six chapters in GFantasy. Aldred's exploits go for SGD 9.90 a pop, but I'm sure it's worth it as —

But as the night of twin moons approaches, vampires from beyond are making plans to stake their claim in this world, and Aldred has to find a way to unleash his vampire powers to repel the enemy before they take over. However, to do so could mean the slow demise of his human friend - one who holds the key to unsheathing his blood weapon - and violating the greatest taboo of all. When a vampire's true instincts are awakened, can his bloodlust ever be satisfied?
