07-GHOST vol 3 of 12+
by Amemiya Yuki, Ichihara Yukino

To avenge his father and his best friend, Teito spends days training hard for his bishop promotion, and the privileges that come with the appointment. But the enemy is not about to leave Teito and the Eye of Mikhail alone. Ayanami sends not only Call but also other flunkies to infiltrate Sanctuary.

The horrific murder of an ex-convict sends ripples of unease across the church, even as the clergy exam approaches ever closer and the acolytes seem none the wiser to the danger they are in. A traitor lurks in the midst, and Teito becomes the target of a Warsfeil - an evolved version of Kor - to bait the Seven Ghost Zehel and draw him out of hiding. [Chuang Yi in its 07-GHOST Vol.3 synopsis]

And when the traitor is revealed, something precious will yet again be lost...

07-GHOST volume 3 compiles Kapitel (chapters) 12 through 17, Nightmare Parts 3 to 8, that 07 Ghost Wiki sez correspond to anime episodes 14 to 18. The most recent tankou Kapitel is 73, Curse, bound in volume 12, published last July. (Though not for long; Volume 13 is skedded to release in Japan the day before Christmas.)

I will add the missing blurbs when they become available. «Done

A note on the special priced sets
Many have observed that this Elex release sked is stronger on the special price packages than current series (value sets outnumber currents four to one). Still, rejoice because among the priced off are Spiral: The Bonds of Reason (volumes 1–10 of 15) and Tokkyu!! (volumes 1–8 and 9–15 of 20). If I knew it would come to this, I wouldn't have traipsed all over the metro just to hunt down these volumes :P

Mangazines: Nakayoshi 11/2011
I'm pretty sure that's Yukina of XX Me! on the cover of the latest Nakayoshi Gress! (even without the glasses and Shigure), but the series spotlight is on Azumi and Joshima and A Gift for My Teacher... [Continued below Other 20 November 2011 highlights]
