07-GHOST vol 3 of 12+
by Amemiya Yuki, Ichihara Yukino

To avenge his father and his best friend, Teito spends days training hard for his bishop promotion, and the privileges that come with the appointment. But the enemy is not about to leave Teito and the Eye of Mikhail alone. Ayanami sends not only Call but also other flunkies to infiltrate Sanctuary.

The horrific murder of an ex-convict sends ripples of unease across the church, even as the clergy exam approaches ever closer and the acolytes seem none the wiser to the danger they are in. A traitor lurks in the midst, and Teito becomes the target of a Warsfeil - an evolved version of Kor - to bait the Seven Ghost Zehel and draw him out of hiding. [Chuang Yi in its 07-GHOST Vol.3 synopsis]

And when the traitor is revealed, something precious will yet again be lost...

07-GHOST volume 3 compiles Kapitel (chapters) 12 through 17, Nightmare Parts 3 to 8, that 07 Ghost Wiki sez correspond to anime episodes 14 to 18. The most recent tankou Kapitel is 73, Curse, bound in volume 12, published last July. (Though not for long; Volume 13 is skedded to release in Japan the day before Christmas.)

I will add the missing blurbs when they become available. «Done

A note on the special priced sets
Many have observed that this Elex release sked is stronger on the special price packages than current series (value sets outnumber currents four to one). Still, rejoice because among the priced off are Spiral: The Bonds of Reason (volumes 1–10 of 15) and Tokkyu!! (volumes 1–8 and 9–15 of 20). If I knew it would come to this, I wouldn't have traipsed all over the metro just to hunt down these volumes :P

Mangazines: Nakayoshi 11/2011
I'm pretty sure that's Yukina of XX Me! on the cover of the latest Nakayoshi Gress! (even without the glasses and Shigure), but the series spotlight is on Azumi and Joshima and A Gift for My Teacher... [Continued below Other 20 November 2011 highlights]

Inuyasha 55, Kungfu Boy Premium 7, Q.E.D. 38 (Elex Media 16 November 2011 manga) [UPDATED]

Debated whether to finish the draft NikBabble™ first or give you the shopping MinimaList nau. The latter won. Be back later with moar eyecandy and blurbs. «Edit: I'm baaaaaack!

Inuyasha 55, Kungfu Boy Premium 7, Q.E.D. 38 (Elex Media)

Inuyasha © Takahashi Rumiko/Shogakukan [First serialized in Shonen Sunday] · Tekken Chinmi © Maekawa Takeshi/Kodansha [Kodansha Manga Bunko] · Q.E.D. Shomei Shuryo © Katou Motohiro [Serialized in Monthly Shōnen Magazine +, formerly in Magazine E-no]. Published in Indonesia as Inuyasha, Kungfu Boy (Premium) and Q.E.D. Quod Erat Demonstrandum by Elex Media

Naraku forces Sango into a corner: if she sacrifices Rin, she can save Miroku. Whatever her choice, will she be in time to stop Miroku from opening his last wind tunnel?

It seems everyone falls prey to Naraku and his look-alikes' traps in Takahashi Rumiko's Inuyasha 55, the penultimate volume. While Inuyasha and Sesshomaru attack Naraku in earnest... Kagome loses her priestess powers, making her a prime target! [from VIZ Media's Inuyasha, Vol. 55: Power of the Jewel description]

Inuyasha 55 compiles chapters 539–548: Capture, Reborn Light, Trap of Light, Swallowed Light, Vanished Arrow, Core, Despair, Naraku's Wish, Cutting Meidou and Byakuya's Blade. [*NOT Elex/Shonen Star chapter titles] If you can't wait for Elex to release the final tankou, check out Shonen Star and find the post 548 chapters there.

I would've followed up the Inuyasha 55 preview with that of Kungfu Boy 7 Premium, but its synopsis is the same as Flash of Wind 29's (screencap proof »here and »here for when Gramedia Shop twigs and changes KBP 7's synops). Chinmi fans, don't fret, because Chinmi is also the star (the front cover) of Shonen Magz Issue 11 (also streets on the 16th), which (prolly) means a major Kungfu Boy Legends development is afoot. But more on ShoMagz later.

So you can see I have a valid reason for previewing Q.E.D. volume 38 up here—Inuyasha, Kungfu Boy and Q.E.D. all tied for top DO WANT! so fair's fair—and it has nothing to do with me fangirling Touma nor shipping Touma×Kana :P

Q.E.D. vol 38 of 40+
By Katou Motohiro

Kuse Yumeji, a film producer with big dreams, persuades Shimamoto Shigehiko, a millionaire's son, to bankroll his movies. The movies do so badly at the tills, Shimamoto loses all his money.

One day, as Shimamoto is about to ask Kuse for a DVD of "Metaphor Murder Case," the producer is murdered. The main suspect: Shimamoto.

Synops above refers to chapter 75 Kekosongan, one of two Q.E.D. 38 stories, first serialized in Magazine E-no's November 2010 issue. The other story is Tujuh Belas, first published in January 2011. [Original serialization details from the Japanese Wikipedia Q.E.D.証明終了 entry.]

Detektif Conan 62, Kekkaishi 7, Kungfu Boy 3 Premium (Elex Media 13 July 2011 manga)

Excluded Library War: Love & War 4 because Elex moved it to the 20 July sked.

Detektif Conan 62 (Elex Media)

Meitantei Conan © Aoyama Gosho/Shogakukan [Serialized in Shonen Sunday]
Published in Indonesia as Detektif Conan by Elex Media

THUD! After waiting for ice ages, Conan finally returns to his real form, that of Kudo Shinichi. But in “growing up,” Shinichi runs into a glitch and...loses his memory? The shocking truth behind it is...?

I guess there's something to the banality that something too good to be true is. Especially as, Wiki adds, the amnesiac Shinichi becomes the prime suspect in an attempted murder.

Elex also promises that Detektif Conan 62 closes the blood-soaked shirt case, as well as discloses the trick to the murder of a female judoka's husband.

Kungfu Boy 3 of 18 (Premium) by Maekawa Takeshi

Chinmi hasn't gone home for a year, prompting Mei Lin to pay her kid brother a visit. Before she can reach Dairin Temple, however, Mei Lin is kidnapped by the Kokuen gang. Chinmi rushes to rescue his sister from the clutches of Zangi, the gang leader specializing in “Inner Power Catapult Kungfu,” but can Chinmi neutralize a power to crush an opponent's abdomen while leaving the body intact?

Shonen Magz 7/2011: The Return of Kungfu Boy Legends

An older Chinmi rejoins Shonen Magz's ranks with the resumption of Maekawa Takeshi's Kungfu Boy Legends in Issue 7/2011. More on this after the release list.
