The rest of the new shoujo manga debut in Cherry mangazine, Issue 56/2011: Sweet Dog's Stories by Hotta Atsuko that I think was originally Tengoku no Inu Monogatari (ex-ChuChu; Japan tankoubon release: 2004.11) and My Mysterious Neighbor by Nakajima Yuka, possibly Ciao's 2010-vintage Tonari no Obake-san (JP tankou: 2011.02). Also (I'm not sure), the local KOLONI comic, Sang Sayur by S Y S.

Hotta Atsuko is primarily known for the Tengoku no Inu Monogatari collection of doggie one-shots (six volumes so far, the latest Zutto, Zutto Issho ni per April 2011) , but Nakajima Yuka is also credited with the three-volume Waratte Himiko-san (published by m&c! as Smile, Himiko!) and Kirakira Hikare AKA Sparkling Charm. Her latest is Kokoro Curtain (JP release: 2011.07.29). S Y S, meanwhile, created Sejejak Mimpi: Romantika Odong-odong.

Unless Cherry finished off the three one-shots in Ichikawa Show's I Love Dog and You in Issue 55, that should still appear in this issue. I also assume that Always by Your Side by Nakamura Sayumi, Dawn Aria by Akaishi Michiyo, I am not a Maid! by Iwaoka Meme, My Lovely Class Leader ♥ by Nishimura Tomoko and Yomogi Loves Money? by Arai Kiyoko are still serializing. Telor Ceplok reader Lidya-san commented last month that Nanajima Kana's 7 Centi! wasn't finished yet, so perhaps we'll see its return in this issue, too. (Also, Lidya-san? So to replace Takase's custom glasses (which cost 500 thousand yen), Saya has to work for Takase, singing whatever piece he shoves at her.

I assumed last time that Nanajima Kana's 7 Centi! was close to wrapping because Cherry 53's Memory 9 installment came from 7 Cenchi! volume 3 of 3. 7 Centi! gracing the front cover this time strengthens that assumption (based on how m&c! usually features concluding series on the cover). If I'm wrong and it's not yet the finale, you get Memory 10, at the very least. Update: While Memory 10: Biar Kita Berpisah, Aku Tidak Kesepian!! I am so hoping that this is Arai Kiyoko's money-grubber, childhood friends-troped Yomogi Mochi Yaketa? 「ヨモギもちヤケた？」, ex-ChuChu. But whether it proves as big a draw as Beauty Pop remains to be (doh-obvious) seen.

Also, haven't the foggiest as to what She, Between He and Me refers to, but it also premieres in this Cherry. Furthermore, must note that m&c seems to be serializing KOLONI comics in the mangazine; I see Princessa listed for page 338.

Adaptations
First adapted into anime by Daume in 2007. Thirteen episodes aired in Japan between October and December of that year, with seiyuu Satou Rina, Inoue Marina and Chihara Minori voicing Minami sisters Haruka, Kana and Chiaki. The cast reprised the roles in the second season Minami-ke: Okawari, animated by a different studio. The asread sequel ran from January to March 2008 (also 13 episodes). asread went on to produce a third season, Minami-ke: Okaeri, which aired from January to March 2009, with the addition of Mizuki Nana as Minami Tōma to the cast.

The fourth adaptation, Minami-ke: Betsubara, was released as an OAD bundled with manga volume 6 (2009.06.23).
