Inuyasha 55, Kungfu Boy Premium 7, Q.E.D. 38 (Elex Media 16 November 2011 manga) [UPDATED]

Debated whether to finish the draft NikBabble™ first or give you the shopping MinimaList nau. The latter won. Be back later with moar eyecandy and blurbs. «Edit: I'm baaaaaack!

Inuyasha 55, Kungfu Boy Premium 7, Q.E.D. 38 (Elex Media)

Inuyasha © Takahashi Rumiko/Shogakukan [First serialized in Shonen Sunday] · Tekken Chinmi © Maekawa Takeshi/Kodansha [Kodansha Manga Bunko] · Q.E.D. Shomei Shuryo © Katou Motohiro [Serialized in Monthly Shōnen Magazine +, formerly in Magazine E-no]. Published in Indonesia as Inuyasha, Kungfu Boy (Premium) and Q.E.D. Quod Erat Demonstrandum by Elex Media

Naraku forces Sango into a corner: if she sacrifices Rin, she can save Miroku. Whatever her choice, will she be in time to stop Miroku from opening his last wind tunnel?

It seems everyone falls prey to Naraku and his look-alikes' traps in Takahashi Rumiko's Inuyasha 55, the penultimate volume. While Inuyasha and Sesshomaru attack Naraku in earnest... Kagome loses her priestess powers, making her a prime target! [from VIZ Media's Inuyasha, Vol. 55: Power of the Jewel description]

Inuyasha 55 compiles chapters 539–548: Capture, Reborn Light, Trap of Light, Swallowed Light, Vanished Arrow, Core, Despair, Naraku's Wish, Cutting Meidou and Byakuya's Blade. [*NOT Elex/Shonen Star chapter titles] If you can't wait for Elex to release the final tankou, check out Shonen Star and find the post 548 chapters there.

I would've followed up the Inuyasha 55 preview with that of Kungfu Boy 7 Premium, but its synopsis is the same as Flash of Wind 29's (screencap proof »here and »here for when Gramedia Shop twigs and changes KBP 7's synops). Chinmi fans, don't fret, because Chinmi is also the star (the front cover) of Shonen Magz Issue 11 (also streets on the 16th), which (prolly) means a major Kungfu Boy Legends development is afoot. But more on ShoMagz later.

So you can see I have a valid reason for previewing Q.E.D. volume 38 up here—Inuyasha, Kungfu Boy and Q.E.D. all tied for top DO WANT! so fair's fair—and it has nothing to do with me fangirling Touma nor shipping Touma×Kana :P

Q.E.D. vol 38 of 40+
By Katou Motohiro

Kuse Yumeji, a film producer with big dreams, persuades Shimamoto Shigehiko, a millionaire's son, to bankroll his movies. The movies do so badly at the tills, Shimamoto loses all his money.

One day, as Shimamoto is about to ask Kuse for a DVD of "Metaphor Murder Case," the producer is murdered. The main suspect: Shimamoto.

Synops above refers to chapter 75 Kekosongan, one of two Q.E.D. 38 stories, first serialized in Magazine E-no's November 2010 issue. The other story is Tujuh Belas, first published in January 2011. [Original serialization details from the Japanese Wikipedia Q.E.D.証明終了 entry.]

RINNE 5 by Takahashi Rumiko (Chuang Yi 5 April 2011 English manga)

Also, simplified Chinese mangaDN Angel #12, can you believe? (Scroll down for DARK × Daisuke's testosteroney companions.)

Also, don't know why The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya manga volume 8 went from Coming soon at 2011-04-05 to dateless between 2 and 4 April. I woulda thunk Chuang Yi woulda pushed it, seeing as Season 2 of the Haruhi Suzumiya anime premieres on the 6th on Animax. In any case —
